Privacy Policy
Effective August 27, 2026 · Last updated August 27, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Bot Hollywood (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by CineLeopard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the studio at bothollywood.com (the “Service”), including sign-in with Google.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes our practices for account data, footage and stills you upload, generated cuts, and AI-powered production tools.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account information
When you register or sign in, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Account credentials (encrypted passwords) if you use email sign-in
- Google account name, email, and a unique Google user identifier if you use Google Sign-In
- Payment and subscription status (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers)
2.2 Project and media content
When you use the studio, we collect:
- Project briefs, titles, shot lists, and prompts you write
- Images, clips, art-direction stills, brand, and writing samples you upload
- Generated stills, titles, voiceover, music beds, and finished cuts
- Optional API keys you paste (for example a fal key) to run generation on your own account
2.3 Usage and technical data
- IP address, browser type, device information, and access times
- Cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in
- Aggregated usage (house stills generated, seconds of finished cut) for billing and product improvement
3. Google Sign-In
If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google authenticates you and shares with us the information you approve in the Google consent screen — typically your name, email address, and profile identifier. We use that only to create or sign in to your Bot Hollywood account. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, or Drive. We do not post to Google on your behalf.
Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the studio: plan shots, generate stills, assemble cuts
- Authenticate you (email, magic link, or Google)
- Process subscriptions and payments via Stripe
- Store project files so you and connected agents can reopen the same studio
- Send transactional email (sign-in links, billing receipts)
- Detect abuse, secure the Service, and comply with law
We do not sell your footage, writing samples, or personal information.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share data only as needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — account authentication and project records
- Stripe — checkout and billing (subject to Stripe’s privacy policy)
- Vercel / Vercel Blob — hosting and media storage
- AI providers (xAI, Anthropic, fal) — to generate research, shot lists, stills, voice, or music from the brief and references you submit. Those providers process the content required for the job.
- Law enforcement or regulators if required by law
- In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with continued protection under this policy
If you use SuperGrok / MCP or your own fal key, generation may run on your provider account instead of house meters. Those providers’ policies then also apply.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, and hashed passwords. No system is completely secure. Optional BYO keys should be treated as secrets; we recommend rotating them if you believe they were exposed.
7. Retention
Account records stay while the account is open. Project files, uploads, and cuts are kept so you can reopen work; we may drop inactive media after a reasonable period (on the order of 90 days after last activity) unless a paid subscription requires longer retention. Billing records are kept as required for tax and accounting.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Update account details after sign-in
- Cancel a paid subscription from Usage & billing (Stripe opens on cancel)
- Request a copy or deletion of your account by emailing hello@bothollywood.com
- Disconnect Google access from your Google account permissions at any time
We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage for authentication and session. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the studio will not stay signed in without them.
10. International transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States using providers such as Supabase, Stripe, and Vercel.
11. Children
The Service is for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed to the address on your account. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
